The Ministry of Casual Living is an artist run project space that is committed to the promotion and advancement of emerging as well as submerging artists. The project space intends to broaden the exposure of contemporary critical art to the public. The artist run store front gallery has proven to be instrumental in the dissemination of ideas and dialogue surrounding contemporary art. The founding brethren and sisters of "The Ministry" intend the space to function as an ambassador or missionary for art to the public. A strength of the store front gallery and window access is that it offers the viewer the opportunity to engage the work on their own terms. "The Ministry" promotes this relationship and encourages the community to take part in this project. The success of the project depends on an equal participation of the audience. The Ministry of Casual Living is founded on and dedicated to the empowerment of the people and the integration of Art into our lives.
